Welcome to the MITE6302 Hypermedia and Multimedia in Education. You can click HERE to access the module outline. In module you will explore how to effectively source, select, use, adapt, develop and evaluate the use of selected hypermedia and multimedia in education. Here are specific learning outcomes for the module:
⇒ Select, use and evaluate existing multimedia and hypermedia productions in teaching and learning.
⇒ Plan and manage multimedia and hypermedia development process.
⇒ Follow-up though design process with particular emphasis on instructional design elements in order to plan for pedagogically sound products.
⇒ Develop basic media elements (video, digital images, audio and text) for integration into a final production.
⇒ Integrating media into an interactive product.
⇒ Package and deliver educational multimedia and hypermedia products.

In the first session, you will be introduced to the fundamental concepts and we will start with authoring practices. You will use Adobe Authorware as this tool will allow you to quickly understand fundamentals of authoring courseware and instructional design practices. Once you understand these, you will be able to more easily move on with Adobe Flash.
